It is important for those with mental health conditions to have an annual physical review with the nurse/HCA each year, followed by a GP review. We would encourage you to attend even if you feel your mental health is ok. We take basic measurements such as height, weight and blood pressure amongst other things and also check for cholesterol and diabetes which is very important.
In addition, please find some useful advice and resources to maintain your physical and mental health.

Just dropping a line to say thanks. We had our second jab for COVID-19 on 01/04/21 and was organised very well as was the first one. The nurse in question was very professional and informative. I didn’t get her name but she had a reddish tint in her hair. I think. Also thanks to all the staff at the centre.April 2021
I've been impressed with all the staff I have encountered at Watford Health Centre. From email correspondence, telephone calls to walk in surgery they have been kind, organised and consistently efficient. The environment during the Covid-19 vaccination days was a buzz of co-operation, thoughtfulness and a real sense of care for patients and each other. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work and commitment to the well being of NHS staff and their community. You are all heroes to me.March 2021
I came to the surgery on 18th March 21 for my blood test and Diabetes review. I was met by a nurse called Aruljothi. I found her very pleasant, polite and professional. She made me feel at ease and answered all my questions. I would like my comments to be passed on to her Line Manager. The lady at reception was very helpful and pleasant too.March 2021
I have no other word than EXCELLENT Such a kindness from my doctor she had given everything to take care of my healthTW October 2020
Great service. Notification that you had ordered a flu injection for me without having to ask for it. On the day, socially distanced waiting area, under cover, with staff directing people to doctor’s consulting rooms. Production line process. In and out, in under 10 minutes. It doesn’t get better than that!September 2020
